I've been at a holiday chalet with my family since Friday. Which means, no computer, no internet access... and when I came back, what greeted me was "154 deviations 101 messages". Hallelujah. And since I'm not the kind to ignore stuff until I have 105367 messages in my inbox... the rest of my day will probably be spent going through them.

I did bring my laptop along to work on some of my art, and I'm happy to say that I've now finished the lineart of all but one character of my "A---s in A----in", and laid down the base colours for two of them. But a chalet is a chalet, and I spent most of my time playing with the children, or getting some much needed exercise that I've been lacking since I started schooling last year. Cycling is good for your health, especially if you get fresh air while you're at it, and can enjoy the amazing greenery that Singapore does have. We may not have gleaming rivers or flowerfields, nor majestic mountains and sparkling seas, but we do have a lot of trees that other urban countries lack. And trees are truly beautiful.

On Sunday, all of us when to a newly opened hub-thing nearby, to visit the bowling alley. But there were 31 people on the waiting list, so I brought the kids to the arcade where I made a terrible mistake of playing Taiko. Normally, when I played Taiko in other arcades, they had proper drumsticks, and my hands would just feel a little sore, even if I played Oni mode. This time, however, the drumsticks were large, fat and heavy things made of weird materials, and by the time I was done, my hands were exhausted and blisters were beginning to form.

As expected, my score was the lowest in bowling, because my arms and hands were just too tired and painful to do well. It made me think really hard that night, when I couldn't wield my stylus properly. As an artist and a musician, my fingers are sacred to me, and I cannot let them come to any harm. I must protect my hands, even if it means giving up things I like. Quote FMA: Equal Exchange. For my art and my music, I have to stop playing taiko frequently and recklessly. So from now on, I will only play taiko on the DS, where all I have to do is mash buttons.

On a happier note, Monday night was pretty awesome. I sat in the room watching episodes of Digimon Adventure 01, and it was so nostalgic. Some people may think that it is 'childish' and 'cheesy' or 'old', but there is so much awesome in the amazing plotline, the excellent character development, and the absolutely lolworthy humour. Anyone who hasn't watched Digimon before should try it. No matter how old you think it is, or how ugly the art. Which I think has a charm of its own, anyway.

My sister has an amazing body sometimes. She can fart no less than ten times in one night. Sometimes she can do rapid-fire farting, three at one go. Sometimes she can even fart on command. At a previous chalet, she even entered a room, placed herself in front of my brother, and announced that she was going to fart. And she did.

So this night, she farted between episodes of Digimon, and then we saw MetalEtemon use his just-as-wonderful Fart Attack on Pinocchimon. Oh, the lol.

Now I'm back, isdaoasmdo-ing over Tales news, and wanting to work on my somewhat-secret-project... and wanting to sleep.
